Bad karma and good karma even out sometimes.

Instead of some long winded entry, explaining my exploits since I went on an indefinite hiatus (there was a banana involved, but I swear I will keep that story to myself for your sake), I suppose I will just pick up with today.

So, work was horrfying. It was supposed to be an extremely slow sunday since all the yale students are gone, but that's really dependant on the managers that are on duty I suppose. Half our crew was let go early and the manager on duty decided that he was going to do everything himself and not tell anyone else what needed to be done, or to do. So all of us began to do our own thing and all hell broke loose. Needless to say, I was tired and most likely going to stay until close (from 10a-12a), but they told me to just fuck it and leave.

So I called a friend of mine to go get food, and I get in the car and get a phone call from someone I haven't talked to since the middle of summer, someone who always makes me giddy (as bad as that sounds). He askes me to go to the movies to see "The Prestige," and I say no, because I want to go out with my friend. I guess I was acting really obvious, so we went to Target, went to eat, and she dropped me off at the movie theater without really a blink. It just made me look at my friends in a light that...I might not normally want to care/understand.

So we went to see the movie and it felt like a date. This kid is a really chill guy, we have no real relationship, yet everytime we do something it feels special. I held his hand, we kissed at the end of the night, but more like it's natural to us, though we are not seeing each other at all. Hell, I usually only see this kid every other month. It's awkward, but it made a very chaotic day mellow out in the end.

Well, that's it. hopefully we'll have something more exciting over the breaks (lemme tell ya, my drinking stories are crazy lately), but until then....oyasumi nasai!

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
6. Don't lie

Opening Credits: All That I'm Living For - Evanescence (kinda...eerie. lol)

Waking Up: About Me - Utada Hikaru

First Day At School: Can't Buy Me Love - Michael Buble (WTF...I was a greedy bastard of a child...)

Falling In Love: Crawling - Linkin Park (Okay, it's time for me to update my music...)

Fight Song: Devil - Staind (Interesting fight song for literate people like myself)

Breaking Up: Drop the Bomb - Scotty D (Dance Dance Revolution break up? Right on)

Prom: Epiphany - Staind (apparently I led an extremely emo life)

Life's Ok: Follow Me - Uncle Kracker (why is this even on my mp3 player?!?)

Mental Breakdown: Good Enough - Evanescence (OH COME ON NOW! I'm not this depressing...)

Driving: Headstrong - Trapt (Thank god I don't drive)

Flashback: I Miss You - Blink 182 (Sure)

Getting Back Together: J-E-N-O-V-A - The Black Mages (...reunion?)

Birth of Child: Krwlng - Linkin Park/Aaron Lewis (no babies in my future at this rate)

Wedding: Litium - Evanescence (I swear to god, evanescence is ruining my future)

Final Battle: Lust - Covin (name says it all...YES!!!)

Death Scene: Materia - Tsuyoshi Sekito (that's...disturbing)

Funeral Song: My Last Breath - Evanescence (only time this actually worked)

End Credits: The Oath - Nobou Uematsu (Very nice for an ending)

So, apparently my livejournal hiatus is over...and I am still a complete fucking nerd. Sorry to bother everyone. lol

I see, in your simple words
Your simple smile
Your simple face, a
Complex Riddle
Whose solution is guarded
By the locks on your heart.

One world, two worlds,
Three worlds, four
Unlimited possibilities,
Locked in the enigma
of your
Simple Words.

Complex Riddle,
Simple Words
Creating Infinites
and nothings,
Leading me towards the

I shall follow you blindly, my love.

May. 28th, 2006 | 12:38 am

this is a weird set of questions...but

does anyone have any references to any of these things:

1) ars arcanum
2) alchemy
3) metatron
4) babel fish
5) resonance in nature
6) historical (not fictional) dark magic

...it's for something i'm writing. and no, it is not a cheap ripoff of fullmetal alchemist. lol

it's actually about linguistics. if you have anything, website...book...source i can work with, it would be nice.

otherwise, ignore this post. lol

I started to write a really good post...but then it died. No motivation whatsoever to write (yet I read it everyday).
